The timeless elegance of Grande Soffice recalls classicism, its linear shape ends in soft curves that look like sculptures. Extraordinarily simple. Designer Francesco Binfaré

Francesco Binfaré (1939) was born in Milan, Italy.

He received his artistic training under the direction of his father. His work for the cabinetmaker Cesare Cassina started when he was about 21 years old in 1960. As assistant to Cassina, he researched new projects and the realizations of prototypes. From 1969 to 1976, Binfaré was director of the Centro Cesare Cassina. In his own Design Center, created in 1980, he focuses on the design of spaces and solutions that will serve for the launching of new products, preferably sofas, since they represent his principles of design and work.
