The juxtaposition of a solid-wood frame with a visually light cover creates a unique relationship between the two components, resulting in a comfortable and durable chair with a distinctive design language. The frame is crafted in solid oak or beech with different finishes, and the slip-on cover is available in leather or industrial-strength marine canvas.

He studied Architecture at the Miami University, Oxford, Ohio. His background in architecture and multidisciplinary approach led him to Milan in 1999 to collaborate with Piero Lissoni as Senior Industrial Designer at the Lissoni Associati. Today he has his own design studio in Stockholm, Sweden. Shane Schneck’s studio is based in Stockholm and develops products that range from chairs to mobile devices. The studio was recently awarded the IF Gold Award for Innovation.
